We adopted our gorgeous boy Hector after our original choice fell through, because of her ongoing health issues. Rinisa has a real understanding of which dog will fit in with your family, and he certainly was the perfect choice for us. Hector had been rescued from a family who couldn't give a hoot about him. He spent his time either chained up outside or being thrown out onto the streets. He was so matted, he was taken to the groomers by Amos, where most of his hair had to be shaved off. When I was shown the before and after photos it was almost impossible to tell he was the same dog. He is now a treasured member of our family. He is adored by our grandchildren and has the most beautiful nature. We adopted him in March 2021, and never ever regretted it. Our heartfelt thanks go to the Amos team, for allowing us to be part of his life.

I adopted Chika last year and she's the best choice I ever made. She loves me and I love her. She is friendly, cuddly, playful, mischievous, she is perfect. I found she was getting bored as I work long shifts so I adopted Pickle (prev. Pixie) also from Amos who has settled perfectly, they adore each other. They play together constantly, they snuggle up together in bed, she's taught him to be mischievous too. I wouldn't change them for the world and I don't think I've ever met rescue cats who are such friendly little beasts ❤️

I originally heard about Amos in 2021 from a friend who had previously adopted a dog. After looking I fell in love with Nala (original name Dva) photo. the adoption process was smooth and I was always informed with updates whilst I was waiting for her to arrive. Once she arrived I have always felt supported from Amos and the Amos family. Since then I have also adopted another beautiful boy from Amos who has completed our family. Both of our dogs are wonderful, cheeky and the biggest blessing, I cannot thank Amos enough for giving me my two fur babies.

After losing our beloved golden retriever we were searching for a rescue animal in need. It was emotional and we wanted to give ourselves the best chance of the right fit for our family. Rinisa and her team at AMOS carried out a reassuringly thorough assessment of our circumstances and helped to match us with the lovely Luna. Since then we have also had the pleasure of fostering and then adopting the handsome Rusty. Both animals arrived to us fully health checked and vaccinated. We have full histories for both of them from AMOS and while heartbreaking it is nice to know a bit of their origin story. They are safe now in a warm loving home thanks to the tireless work of these wonderful people. Thank you AMOS xx

I adopted Reggie (was spice) in 2021 and he now lives with me and my family in Wales by the beach. I will always be grateful to Amos for allowing us to have Reggie. Everything they told us about Reggie was accurate, which is obviously extremely important to us with 3 small children. He is a lovely family dog and always likes to keep an eye on the kids when they are playing in the garden. Despite previously living in a kennel, he is now fully house trained and loves his home comforts and to sleep on the bed and sofa. He has settled into our family really well.

We adopted Pepperoni in February 2024. The adoption process was smooth, the staff very friendly. Pepperoni arrived in very good health and hasn't needed to see a vet yet. She settled into our family very well and is a sweet, intelligent and cheeky character.

I found out through my niece about Amos as I was looking for a new fur baby as I had lost my dogs to old age. I didn't want to buy from a breeder and wanted to give a dog a second chance. Once I went on the page and seen Togo I fell in love with him and he was the one I knew needed to come home and be spoilt. I enquired about him and Amos told me everything and even showed me him on my home check as the volunteer was at the shelter at the time of the home check. The process was so easy and straight forward he has been with me since May 2021 and I couldn't have asked for a better dog to fit in with my family he is truly amazing and I will be ever thankful to Amos for allowing me to adopt Togo.

Reggie (Rexon,) My fury friend from Amos. The clumsiest dog I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! But clumsiness is just part of his charm. He's also the most loving and affectionate dog. Always there for a cuddle, a tummy rub or a game of fetch. Fate led us to Reggie in June 2024 and it was meant to be. He is a companion, a best friend and part of our family. I cannot thank AMOS enough for introducing me to this goofy, loveable boy.

Since Adopting Bibi in 2021, I have been a part of the Amos family for over 4 years now. Amos are always so supportive throughout the process and after the adoption. Despite being based in North Macedonia, I have found the shelters approach and after adoption care to go beyond that of rescues in the UK. I will always be an advocate for the shelters mission and cannot imagine life without my furbaby thanks to Amos. I know I'll rescue through them again in the future, I couldn't imagine doing anything different since seeing the amazing transformation of my rescue dog Bibi. Thank you from us both

We adopted a beautiful 5 month old puppy from Amos called Astra now known as Ayla the whole process was smooth, helpful and we have been supported all the way through. Ayla has been with us for 4 weeks now and what an absolute pleasure she is and she is a wonderful companion for our resident dog. Thankyou Amos for giving us the opportunity to give Ayla a loving home and bring us so much joy. ♥️💕

AMOS Pet are the best in the business at what they do for the dogs/animals in their care. I have rescued two amazing pups with AMOS - the staff are top class and truly invested in their mission. Also, knowledgeable, hands on and keep you in the loop throughout the adoption process and beyond. Without AMOS, my two babies and hundreds more would never have gotten a second chance at life, we are forever grateful 🐾

Thank you Amos for letting me adopt Ceca. She was found nearly starved on the streets with her ten dead pups. This picture is of her after doubling her body weight with me. Poor girl. She has suffered so much that she deserves to live out her days as a Princess. It is my privilege to be the human for this lovely complex girl. Whatever it takes.

We adopted Dolly (Kalesh) in June 2024. We originally showed interest in another dog but after our intense but friendly interview and home check, they decided that as first time dog owners, this dog wasn't the best fit for us. They then sent us pictures of 2 dogs that they thought would be a better suit to our young family. It was their professionalism and knowledge of the animals in their care that brought Dolly to us and she has been the perfect fit to our family. We will be forever grateful and haven't stopped recommending them to friends and family. If we decide to get another rescue animal in the future, we will 100% be using them again! The whole team were a dream to work with and the aftercare and questions answered has been exemplary!

Hi I’m Hayley from Bedfordshire, after losing our precious dog to old age I felt ready to give another a home and wanted to rescue, I found it very difficult to do this in the UK and was getting disheartened but by chance I found AMOS and Cassandra. Over the course of the adoption process we had a home check, saw lots of pictures and even a couple of live FaceTimes with our girl - we were added to a messenger group with all the other adopters on Cassie’s transport and still keep in touch with many of them - having never rescued before I was a little nervous but didn’t need to be, Cassie arrived and was everything AMOS had told us and more plus we’ve had lots of support on our journey - thank you Rinisa and all your team for your commitment and dedication, Cassie is healthy, happy and loving and we adore her!

Hi I’m Lisa from Northumberland I adopted my lovely little Buddy Aug 2024 Amos are absolutely Brilliant I reserved Buddy and they updated me all the time from then to him arriving Rinisa and the volunteers and the delivery men are all amazing I was included with the other adopters in a group messenger it’s so lovely to see the animals go to their furever homes my little Buddy is loved so much and I can’t thank Amos Pet so much x

We adopted Fibi in December 2020 and have been a part of the Amos family ever since! The whole process, from house check to the day Fibi came to us, was very smooth. We received many photos and videos prior to the adoption and felt we knew Fibi already. She is now living her best life in the French countryside with older sister Pizza.

In June 2024, I adopted a wonderful black and white cat named Figaro from Amos Animal Rescue. Throughout the adoption process, the support and dedication from the team was outstanding, including home check, updates, and transport. All the animals are vet-inspected and Defra-approved to arrive in the UK. I also fostered kittens following Figaro's arrival, and the experience was just as positive. I highly recommend Amos Animal Rescue for their exceptional care for animals.

In September 2021 I was approved to adopt a cat from Amos. The application process was easy yet thorough and once approved I was given the choice of cats available and suitable to our application. As soon as we seen a beautiful tortoiseshell cat we knew she was the one for us. Beautiful Rosa was reserved and while waiting for her transport all the way to Cornwall UK I was regularly updated with photos and videos and the shelter began getting her used to her name I had chosen. Rosa’s day finally came to travel and I was sent a video of her boarding the happy bus in her clean fresh well air conditioned van with plenty of food and water. Rosa was brought to my home with her passport and vet records. Rosa was in a cat carrier and she was a very happy, chilled, clean healthy cat. Rosa had been spayed, vaccinated, health checked with all necessary blood tests, microchipped, flea treatment given and wormed. Rosa is our world and I cannot think of what life she would of had living on the cruel streets of Macedonia, homeless, no food, endless litters of kittens or potentially harmed. Thanks to Amos Rosa was one of the lucky ones. I highly recommend Amos and I wouldn't hesitate to adopt from Amos again. Thank you Amos for our Macedonian Queen Rosa.

We heard about AMOS after my mum and dad adopted the lovely Jambi and as they spoke so highly of them, we knew that if we ever got a second cat, it would be from there. Then AMOS introduced us to Makka, a black street kitten, who, through injury had to have a front leg amputated. We immediately fell in love with her. AMOS matched us perfectly with Makka; she is the sweetest soul and the perfect addition to our wee family. She is now known as Makka Mouse, a testament to her Macedonian roots and to her mousey nature. The support received from AMOS and the volunteers is wonderful – there’s always someone to help when we need advice and reassurance. What AMOS do for the animals of N. Macedonia is exceptional and any future adoptions will be from AMOS. Now we have two tri-paw black cats – black cats are for life, not just for Halloween!

We adopted Mola in 2023 after losing our beloved 1st dog , we really wanted a rescue to join our family and like others have mentioned were struggling to find one in the UK. Mola's face kept popping up on my Facebook page ( I now know it was meant to be) . We took the plunge and enquired , and I cannot fault how easy and professional Amos make the whole process, from the home checks, through to the tracking of the transport when your dog arrives , you are kept updated the whole time . We feel so lucky to have been allowed to give Mola a home she is such a happy little girl , she fits in perfectly ,she is loved by all our family, friends and everyone she meets, and we know Amos are there if we ever needed any advice or backup. Thank you Rinisa and the Amos team for all the hard work you do tirelessly, making the lives better for the dogs and cats of North Macedonia.
