Zejna is a stunningly elegant Persian cat with a soft, fluffy coat and beautiful blue eyes that still shine with curiosity and grace, even though her vision is very limited. She suffers from Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), a genetic condition that gradually diminishes a cat’s eyesight over time. In Zejna’s case, her vision is now greatly reduced but you’d never guess it by how confidently and gracefully she moves through the world. She navigates familiar spaces with ease, uses the litter box without issue, and behaves just like any other cat, proving that her condition is no limitation to the joy she brings.
Now in perfect health, Zejna is vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and absolutely ready for her forever home. She is a low-maintenance girl when it comes to daily routines, but like most Persian cats, she will require regular grooming to keep her plush coat in good condition and avoid tangles. A calm brushing session could even become a bonding ritual between Zejna and her future human, something she would absolutely adore, as she loves quiet moments and gentle affection however, she is not a fan of baths and does not enjoy taking them.
While Zejna is okay with other cats and dogs, she doesn’t seek them out or bond with them, she is very much a human-oriented companion. She prefers to observe her furry housemates from a polite distance and would be just as happy being the sole pet in a home where she can soak up all the attention for herself. Her temperament is mellow, serene, and affectionate. She loves curling up in cozy corners, basking in sunbeams, and keeping her human company without being overly demanding. If you’re working from home or enjoying a quiet evening, Zejna will be right there beside you, offering her calming presence.
Persians are known for their gentle and affectionate nature, and Zejna is no exception.
