In reality, Simbu absolutely adores spending time with his feline friends. Whether it’s chasing each other around the house, sharing a windowsill, grooming one another, or simply lounging together nearby, he thrives in the company of other cats and genuinely enjoys being part of a little social circle. He has a playful side that comes out beautifully around cats he feels comfortable with and watching him interact with his feline companions is often both sweet and hilarious.
One of his absolute favorite activities in life is finding the warmest, sunniest spot possible and stretching himself out dramatically like he pays the electricity bill for the sunlight personally. He is a professional sunbather in every sense of the word. If there is a patch of sunlight somewhere in the home, he will locate it immediately and settle into it with complete dedication, often looking so perfectly content that you almost become jealous of how relaxed he is.
He is also good with children and has a tolerant nature around them. He doesn’t become easily overwhelmed by normal household activity and has the kind of balanced temperament that allows him to fit naturally into family life. He enjoys affection and attention but also carries himself with a quiet confidence that makes him easy to live with.
Although he hasn’t officially lived with dogs, he has had regular encounters with the neighbor’s dog, who apparently feels very strongly about announcing himself every time they meet. Interestingly, rather than becoming frightened or reactive, he remains completely unfazed by the barking. In fact, he often responds by simply sitting down and staring at the dog in total silence, almost as if he’s mildly judging the dramatic performance unfolding in front of him. It’s hard not to laugh watching him calmly observe the chaos with the expression of someone who cannot believe another creature is wasting that much energy barking for no reason.
Overall, he is the kind of cat whose personality slowly reveals itself the more time you spend with him. Beneath the serious face and occasionally judgmental stare is a sweet, affectionate, social boy who loves comfort and peaceful moments shared with the people and animals he trusts most.
