Pluvia may be small, but she has a strong personality! She is naturally alert and expressive, using her voice to communicate with the world around her. When she encounters unfamiliar dogs or notices something new in her surroundings, she isn’t afraid to bark and alert her humans. She takes her role as a little guardian quite seriously, always making sure her people are aware of any changes in the environment. However, she is not antisocial but just cautious and curious.
Despite her initial vocal nature, Pluvia is great with other dogs once she gets to know them. She absolutely loves playing and can keep up with bigger dogs, engaging in fun games and zoomies. She enjoys canine companions to socialize with, as playing with other dogs is one of her favorite pastimes.
While Pluvia might be a little watchful when encountering new dogs, she is incredibly affectionate with humans. She adores people and quickly warms up to anyone who shows her kindness. She is the type of dog who will happily snuggle up next to you, follow you around the house, and shower you with love. Whether it’s curling up for a nap next to you or seeking affection with gentle nudges, Pluvia is happiest when she is surrounded by those she loves.
Because she was found on the streets and has spent most of her young life in a shelter environment, Pluvia has not had the opportunity to learn the basics of home life. She is not yet toilet trained and will need patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement to help her learn proper bathroom habits. With time and guidance, she will understand what is expected of her and adapt beautifully.
Similarly, Pluvia is not used to walking on a leash. This is a completely new experience for her, and she will need a gentle and encouraging owner to introduce her to the joys of leash walking. With positive experiences, she will soon learn that walks are exciting adventures rather than something to be uncertain about.
Pluvia is not only wonderful with dogs once she gets to know them, but she is also good with cats. She is a small sized dog and might show signs of separation anxiety once in a home environment especially since she seems to like continuous human attention therefore it is recommended that her future owners work on getting her used to being alone at home for short amount of time so that she doesn’t develop separation anxiety.
Pluvia is looking for a loving and patient home that will help her adjust to home life and teach her the basics of house training, be understanding of her initial vocal nature and allow her time to settle, provide her with companionship, whether in the form of human affection or other pets, give her the time and training she needs to learn how to walk on a leash, and shower her with the love she so deeply craves.
Pluvia is a little dog with a big heart. She has a playful, loving, and affectionate nature that will bring joy to any household. While she may need a bit of guidance as she adjusts to home life, her loyalty and devotion will make every effort worth it.
She may have been abandoned as a pup, but Pluvia is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter with a family that will never let her go.
