Description
Luci is a smart boy with excellent indoor manners. He isn’t demanding or loud, he observes the world carefully, taking everything in at his own pace. New environments can make him a little reserved at first and he may choose to watch from a safe distance while he figures things out. But once he understands that he’s safe and that no one is going to rush or overwhelm him, his transformation is truly special. The shy boy slowly gives way to a curious, playful, and affectionate companion who enjoys human interaction, playtime, and being close to his trusted people. He gets along well with other cats and simply needs a few days to settle in and realize that they are friends, not threats. With time, he blends in nicely and coexists peacefully, making him a suitable candidate for a multi-cat household with calm introductions or a solo cat. Luci’s experience with dogs has been mixed. In a previous foster home, he lived happily with a calm dog who respected his space. Unfortunately, in his current foster home, a very vocal, barking dog has made him anxious. Because of this, Luci would do best in a home with a calm who is used to feline companions. Sadly, Luci knows what it feels like to be given up. His previous owners surrendered him simply because they were “too busy,” a decision that left this sensitive boy confused and in need of reassurance. Despite this, he has not lost his ability to trust. Lucifer is the kind of cat who will form a deep bond with his person. Once trust is established, he will reward you with quiet devotion, soft affection, and a loving presence that makes a house feel peaceful and warm. He doesn’t ask for much, just a safe home, gentle understanding, and someone who will promise never to give up on him again.
